2 March 2009 - Grodno and Mogilev hosted information meetings on the EU programme “Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in Development” (NSA&LA)

Information meetings, organised by the Delegation of the European Commission in the Republic of Belarus, took place in Mogilev (25 February) and Grodno (27 February). The aim of the meetings was to inform Belarusian state and non-state organisations about the opportunities offered by the NSA&LA programme and to consult them on how to draft and submit project applications. Apart from learning about aims, priorities, conditions and capacities of the NSA&LA Programme, participants of the information meetings got acquainted with other EU programmes and Belarusian-European partnership resources: eu-belarus.net and еurobelarus.info.

Information meetings turned out to be a good occasion to extend the Re-Enact partnership network. According to Mr. Ivan Shchadranok, Director of the Institution “Interaction”, participants expressed their interest in the activities and results of the Re-Enact initiative, while many of them said they would gladly cooperate with the Re-Enact experts. It is highly probable that some of the participants will become IURI Mogilev.
