3 November 2008 – Seminars on international technical assistance will take place in Belarusian regions

Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus is organizing a series of seminars on implementation of projects of international technical assistance in Belarus. The seminars will take place in Belarusian regions and will be supported by the TACIS branch office in Belarus and the project “Assistance in enhancing effectiveness of the international technical assistance to Belarus on the basis of harmonization of national procedures of approval and usage of foreign assistance with procedures of donors”.

The seminars will introduce EU support programmes and governmental procedures regulating preparation, approval, implementation, and monitoring of projects and programmes of international technical assistance in Belarus.

The series of seminars began with an event in Brest on 10 October 2008. Next seminars will take place in Vitebsk (4 November 2008), Gomel (14 November 2008), Grodno (28 November 2008), Mogilev (5 December 2008), and Minsk (19 December 2008).
