1 July 2008 – European Commission opens several new Calls for Proposals
European Commission has announced the opening of several new Calls for Proposals under two instruments: Instrument for Stability and European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR). The announced Calls include:
- Instrument for Stability – Crisis preparedness component – Annual Action Programmes 2007-2008 – Peace-building Partnership Support – Organisation of Round Tables(deadlines 14 July 2008 and 13 January 2009)
- EIDHR – Enhancing respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms in countries and regions where they are most at risk (deadline 16 September 2008)
- EIDHR – Actions supporting human rights and democracy issues covered by the EU Guidelines on the Death Penalty (deadline 2 October 2008)
- EIHDR – Strengthening the role of civil society in promoting human rights and democratic reform in supporting the peaceful conciliation of group interests and in consolidating political participation and representation – Transnational and regional actions (deadline 30 September 2008)
In addition, the European Commission has announced one Call for Tenders under the title “Information and Communication campaign support in the ENPI countries and territories” (deadline 15 August 2008).
Belarusian organizations are welcome to take part in any of the aforementioned Calls. Each of the Calls is to be found in our Grant Database.
