23 June 2008 – Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the World Bank open a new program for the support of civil society

On June 23, 2008 the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Belarus (SDC) and the World Bank Country Office in Belarus have presented their new joint Civil Society Support Program for 2008-2009. The new program is a follow-up of the Small Grants Program for civil society organizations implemented in 2003-2007. The new Support Program will combine provision of grants for civil society organizations with training seminars and courses. Special emphasis will be put on capacity building for civil society organizations. More information about the Program is available at the SDC website: www.sdc.by
