Information Units for Regional Initiatives (IURIs) in all regions will focus on:

• serving as promotion interface between European and Belarusian regional partners, local authorities and NGOs in Belarus for enhancing decentralized cooperation;
• identification of the relevant local actors and assessment of their needs;
• providing professional information and advisory services for the EU and Belarus local authorities and NGOs;
• organization of seminars aimed to promote participation of Belarusian stakeholders in international cooperation programmes, project development and management capacity building;
• acting as contact units for interested visitors and hosts for related activities and institutions;
• carrying out public relations and dissemination of information on EU-Belarus-Net and IURIs activities.
