Program Description
Kontaktprogramm Belarus is implemented by the Robert Bosch Foundation together with German Association for Eastern European Studies (DGO). The programme aims to support micro projects in the sphere of German-Belarusian cooperation. These projects must strengthen contacts between Belarusian and German civil society actors, thus contributing to the enforcement of democratic civil society in Belarus.
Main priorities and objectives The aim of the programme is to minimize isolation of the Belarusian society in Europe by:
  • fostering cooperation and exchange of experience between civil society actors in Germany and Belarus
  • introducing the image of Belarus to the German society through implementation of activities of public significance.

The following activities are supported (max. project size €4,000):

  • participation of Belarusian civil society actors in specialized activities in Germany
  • trips of German partner organizations to Belarus
  • involvement of Belarusian journalists, writers, musicians, artists, especially youth representatives
  • further activities aimed at the introduction of the image of Belarus to the German society.

Projects in the sphere of humanitarian cooperation, social work and health care will not be supported.
