• I do not know where to look for the partners, especially those from Europe. Can I implement a project on my own, without any partners?

  This depends on the donor. Some donor organisations that grant small-scale projects do not require participation of European partners, while larger donors that provide considerably large funding (such as European Commission) usually insist on having at least three partners in a project, including those from the EU member states. You should always remember that involvement of European partners generally helps to implement the project in a more efficient way. This happens because most European partners have extensive experience of participating in international projects and, as a rule, are eager to share this experience with their Belarusian partners. In addition, participation of European partners increases your chances of winning a grant, since it is often considered to guarantee financial sustainability of the project.

  Since partner search can really be complicated and time-consuming, we generated a partner database with more than 600 European and international NGOs, funds and local authorities that have experience of working with Belarus. We hope that our database will help you to find an appropriate partner for implementation of joint projects in Belarus.
