German-Belarusian House non profit organisation (Karlsruhe, Germany):

German-Belarusian House (DWH) was established in 1994 within cooperation between the cities Karlsruhe and Minsk. During 11 years GBH has been implementing infrastructural, educational, scientific and cultural projects of international assistance to Belarus aimed to strengthen German-Belarusian cooperation and promote transnational cooperation between Belarus and EU.

The scope of DWH activities includes initiatives in the following fields:

  • development of civil and information society;
  • transfer of new technologies in the sphere of public utilities;
  • transfer of new technologies in the sphere of energy and environmental protection;
  • SME sector development;
  • border cooperation / EU expansion to the east;
  • church and culture;
  • youth initiatives, etc.

Institution for Promotion of International Dialogue and Cooperation INTERACTION (Minsk, Belarus):

INTERACTION was established in 2006 as an institution of the German-Belarusian House in Belarus. For two years it has been assisting DWH in implementation of its projects in Belarus. In the Re-Enact initiative, INTERACTION acts both as an implementing partner and a cooperating body for Information Units (IURIs). It establishes contacts with Belarusian partners, develops the partnership network, coordinates activities of IURIs and serves as a IURI for the city of Minsk. In addition, it supports the Re-Enact website in Russian.
